Preservation - Restoration - Modification

Past Projects

Projects currently being built, or finished.

What would Petrol360 be if we didn’t get our hands dirty? Over the years I(Seth) have had some great opportunity’s to build and create. Some of the builds I have shared my journey with the world. Others I have kept to myself. So the best way to find out what I am all about is to see what I have created. Take a look back in time as I go through the process of Preservation – Restoration – Modification

1977 Yamaha XS400, Cafè Bike

What could be called my first build was this 1977 Yamaha 400cc motorcycle. My first time bringing an old forgotten motor back to life. As well as my first time truly modifying past bolt on parts. Being that this was my first project I decided to keep it. Although it currently is hidden away in storage awaiting its second revival.

V8 Swapped Mazda RX7

1988 RX7 FC 302 Swapped

I spent 4 years being broke it college. I put my time dreaming up cars in my head. All my dreams involved one thing. V8 Swap! Read through the full build on Grassroots Motorsports.

I spent 4 years being broke it college. I put my time dreaming up cars in my head. All my dreams involved one thing. V8 Swap! So when a 1988 RX7 FC became available for trade I jumped in the deal. Over the course if a year I completed the V8 swap. I decided on a Ford 302 and 5 speed manual transmission. Was a great combination and provided a few years of smiles!

1972 Ford F250

The build that I credit for “putting me on the map”. This truck created so many amazing opportunities for me! In contrast to the V8 swap in the RX7 this truck stayed relatively simple. Finding the vintage camper shell and spending hours polishing it to shine sealed its fate as being a head turning rig. Although most of the building time was spent fixing issues that years of neglect had created, I still had to add a bit more. Light rack on the roof, front brush guard, and side ladder were all built myself. Then finished it off with the perfect wheel and tire combo to set the look of the truck in place.

The old truck has provided me with thousands of fun filled miles. Be it commuting to work, or out on adventure it has been an amazing truck! Check out the F250 feature on Stance Works

1966 F100 Short Bed

The most recent addition to under go modification is this short bed F100. I’ve been building this truck in my head for years! I know exactly what the final product will look like, now I’m just working out the details that will get me there. You can follow along as I figure them out on the Build Post on the site.

1964 F100 “Pops Truck”

My Grandpa daily drove this 1964 F100 short bed Y block, three on the tree truck for close to 10 years. Finally one day the fan bolts ripped the radiator to shreds. Without knowing the issue it was driven until the motor seized. After passing hands to me and finally to my dad the rebuild started. Like the 1966 truck it has a crown vic front and rear end. But it is blessed with a 351w and 5 speed. We are building it to be a perfect daily rig that my dad will use as his second car. Keep up to date because you will see more of this truck in the future!
